The safety of your personal data is important to us. In the company VIDASOLA, s. r. o., Grösslingová 4, 811 09 Bratislava, IČO: 53 470 621 registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Bratislava l., Section Sro, file number: 149732 / B (hereinafter referred to as the company), we undertake to protect your personal data.
In this document you will find information about why, when, how and which personal data we process in the company. You will also find a way to contact us if you have any questions about the processing of your personal data.
In certain circumstances we can change and update the privacy policy. We recommend that you always ensure that it is in your own interest that you have updated information.
We undertake to take all measures to prevent the misuse of the personal data you have provided. We will only process your personal data if there is a legal title for the processing of personal data.
Which personal data do we process?
We process the following personal data:
(a) the identification information, which in the case of the customer means in particular the first and last name;
- b) Contact details, i.e. personal data with which we can contact you, in particular your email address, telephone number and contact address;
- c) Data on your purchases, in particular data on goods and services that you have ordered or bought from us, data on payments and data on complaints.
Why do we process personal data and what entitles us to do so?
As part of our activities, we process personal data for various purposes and to different extents:
- a) without your consent due to the performance of the contract, our legitimate interest or due to the fulfillment of a legal obligation or
- b) with your consent.
The processing we can carry out without your consent depends on the purpose for which the processing is intended.
Consent of the data subject
With the consent of the data subject, the company processes personal data for the following purposes:
Loyalty program
After the purchase, the customer can participate in the loyalty program. As a member of this program, he is entitled to various discounts on future purchases and other benefits of membership in the program. For example, he receives information about news and ongoing promotions and consumer competitions. The customer is issued with a card confirming their participation in the loyalty program, while the card is non-transferable. By entering the loyalty program, the customer gives free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent to the processing of their personal data for this purpose in the field of name, surname, email address. The registration itself is a two-step process and requires the visitor to confirm their email address by clicking the link in the activation emails.
Consent is valid during the customer’s membership in the loyalty program. This consent can be revoked at any time. Every information sent contains a link to withdraw consent. It is also possible to revoke the consent in writing to the address of the company headquarters or by e-mail to vidasola@vidasola.sk
The provision and processing of personal customer data is a necessary prerequisite for membership in the customer program and the provision of customer benefits by the company. The inability to process personal data leads to the termination of membership in the customer program.
Consumer competition
If a consumer competition organized by the company takes place at the time of the customer’s purchase, the customer will be included after a free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent to the processing of his personal data for the purpose of organizing the competition. Personal details are in the field of name, surname, email address and telephone number to contact the winners of the competition.
The approval is valid until the end of the competition. The customer can withdraw his consent earlier in writing at the company’s registered office. In this case, however, it is not possible to contact him if he wins.
In addition to the competition, the customer can opt for the loyalty program if he is not yet a member. His decision does not affect participation in the competition.
Sending messages by email (newsletter)
By subscribing to the newsletter, the visitor to the website www.vidasola.sk declares free, specific, informed and unequivocally consent to send information about news, current events and consumer competitions of the company and to process their personal data for this purpose to the extent of Name, surname, email address. The registration itself is a two-step process and requires the visitor to confirm their email address by clicking the link in the activation email.
The consent is valid for 5 years or until revoked, which is possible at any time. Each newsletter sent contains a link to revoke your consent. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter in writing at the company headquarters or by sending an email to vidasola@vidasola.sk.
Processing based on the fulfillment of the contract
Order goods / services via the e-shop
When ordering goods / services via the e-shop, the company processes the customer’s personal data on the basis of a sales contract that is concluded via the Internet (remote contract).
Personal data of the customer are processed in the area of first and last name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.
The data will be processed for a maximum of 10 years after the expiry of the contract in order to ensure proper bookkeeping and compliance with tax regulations.
Recipients of this personal data can be other companies on the basis of an intermediate contract that ensure the actual fulfillment of the subject matter of the contract.
Delivery of orders
In the event of the need to deliver goods, the company processes the customer’s personal data on the basis of a sales contract that is concluded via the Internet (remote contract).
Personal data of the customer are processed in the area of first and last name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.
The data will be processed for the time necessary for the delivery of the orders.
Recipients of this personal data can be other companies that ensure the actual delivery of the subject matter of the contract on the basis of an intermediate contract.
Handling complaints
In the event of a complaint by the customer about goods or services, the company processes the customer’s personal data on the basis of a sales contract.
Personal data of the customer are processed in the area of first and last name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.
The data is processed during the guarantee period – normally within a period of 2 years, unless the guarantee period has been otherwise agreed or extended.
The recipient of this personal data can be another company on the basis of an agency contract that ensures the resolution of the complaint itself.
Processing based on legitimate interest
Customer communication
When you buy goods or services from us, we store your identification and contact details as well as the details of your purchases on the basis of our legitimate interest (without your consent) for the purpose of our internal records and control as well as for the purpose of improving our services. In this case, our legitimate interest is to improve the quality of the services provided and to inform the customer about new goods and services of the respective e-shop in order to support its saleability.

The data will be processed for 2 years from the last purchase.
Recipients of this personal data can be other companies who provide marketing communication with existing customers on the basis of an interim agreement. You have the right to object to such processing based on our legitimate interest.
Abandoned cart
If, as a registered customer, you have not yet completed your purchase or payment, the company can send you an email with a notification and the contents of the shopping cart.

The data will be processed for a maximum of 4 weeks after the purchase is not completed.

Track customer holidays
Keeping track of the customer’s holidays is a marketing activity when the company sends you a congratulations and, if necessary, a gift, such as a discount coupon, during your vacation.
Personal data of the customer are processed in the areas of name, surname, email address, day and month of birth.
The data will be processed for a maximum of 2 years from the last purchase.

Reactivation
If, as a registered customer, you no longer develop activities in the e-shop, the company may contact you with the intention of motivating you to make another purchase or send you a code with a discount on your next purchase.

Based on what you buy from the e-shop, the company can send you information about similar goods to the one you bought.

Based on the contents of your shopping cart / or on the basis of goods that you have previously purchased in the e-shop, you can see the goods recommended by the company for further purchase when you complete the order (in the payment process).

Processing based on compliance with legal obligations
The company must meet certain legal obligations. If we process your personal data for this reason, we do not need to obtain your consent for such processing. On this legal basis, we process your identification, contact and purchase data, in particular the following laws:

For this purpose, we process personal data for a period of 10 years.
What rights do you have when processing personal data?
Just as we have our rights and obligations when processing your personal data, you also have certain rights when processing your personal data. These rights include:
Right of providing information
Essentially, you have the right to know what data we process about you, for what purpose, for how long, where we collect your personal data, to whom we sell it, who processes it besides us and what other rights you and the processing have Related to your personal data. You can find out all of this in this document. However, if you are not sure what personal data we are processing about you, you can ask us to confirm whether we are processing the personal data relating to you. In this case you have the right to access this personal data. As part of the access right, you can ask us for a copy of the processed personal data, whereby the first copy is made available free of charge and the next copy free of charge.
Right to rectification
If you discover that the personal data we process about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected or supplemented immediately.
Right to cancellation
In some cases you have the right to have your personal data deleted. We will delete your personal data immediately if one of the following reasons applies:
We no longer need your personal data for the purposes for which we processed them.
You revoke your consent to the processing of personal data, which is data that requires your consent to be processed, and at the same time we have no other reason why we need to further process this data.
You will exercise your right to object to the processing of personal data that we process based on our legitimate interests, and we will find that we no longer have such legitimate interests that would justify such processing.
You believe that the processing of personal data carried out by us no longer complies with generally binding regulations.
However, please note that if this is one of these reasons, it does not mean that we will delete all of your personal information immediately. This right does not apply if the processing of your personal data is still necessary to fulfill our legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend our legal claims.
Right to restrict processing
In some cases, in addition to the right to erasure, you can exercise the right to restrict the processing of personal data. With this right you can in certain cases demand that your personal data be marked and that this data is not subject to any further processing operations – in this case not forever (as in the case of the right to erasure), but for a limited time.
Right to portability
You have the right to receive from us all of your personal data that you have made available to us and that we process on the basis of your consent and the performance of the contract. We provide you with your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. So that we can transfer data without any problems at your request, only data can be automatically processed in our electronic databases.
Right to object to processing
You have the right to object to the processing of personal data that is in our legitimate interest. With regard to marketing activities, we will stop processing your personal data without any further conditions. In other cases we will do so unless we have compelling reasons to proceed with such processing.
Right to lodge a complaint
Exercising your rights in the above ways does not affect your right to lodge a complaint with the competent authority. You can exercise this right in particular if you are of the opinion that we are processing your personal data without authorization or that generally binding legal provisions have been violated. You can file a complaint against the processing of personal data carried out by us at the Office for Personal Data Protection in Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava.
How can individual rights be exercised?
In all matters relating to the processing of your personal data, be it a request for information, the exercise of a right, a complaint or any other type of request, you can contact the data protection officer authorized by the company.
We will process your request immediately, but within a maximum of one month. In exceptional cases, especially due to the complexity of your request, we are entitled to extend this period by a further two months. We will of course inform you about such a possible extension and the reason for it.
